Show UTAH ALUMNUS "The Utah Alumnus," the new publication of the Alumni association associa-tion of the University of Utah, is making its first appearance with the May issue which has just come from tho press. The magazine will be published pub-lished monthly by the association through the alumni office established upon the university campus in 1924. The purpose of the publication is to help unite all former students of the University of Li tan, by keeping them interested and in touch with the activities of the university and the Alumni association. The Utah Alumnus will be mailed free of cahrge to all former students of the university whose names and, addresses are on record. The vies before this year have not been kept up to date after the student stu-dent has left school, so that the task of compiling a list of the present addresses ad-dresses has been a long and tedioub one. The plan is to make a completu alphabetical file, a class file, and a geographical file of all former students stu-dents and it is this end the executive secretary of the association is working. work-ing. To aid in this cause and to insure in-sure everyone receiving a magazine, Mr. Barker wishes all members who do not receive the May issue to please send in his or her name and address. , The new publication will fill a Ion, felt want of all former students who have wanted to keep in touch with their classmates and their Alma Mater. Ma-ter. The publication will be an organ or-gan through which former students j may express themselves upon methods meth-ods pertaining to the alumni of the University. It is the hope of the association as-sociation that The Utah Alumnus will prove exective in keeping all former students interested! in alumni affairs. |
