Show ADVANCE A pathetic little old lady, long a charity inmate of an old ladies home And suddenly out of the clear sky, a bolt of good fortune strikes. She inherits a million dollars. What she does with it, her troubles and her joys in befriending her former "girl' friends and in trying to provide a gorgeous home for all the orphan babies in the world, form the background back-ground of a wonderful story, which was Elizabeth Cooper's popular best seller under the title of "Drucilla with a Million," not so long ago. With a splendid cast which includes Mary Carr, Kenneth Harlan, Wik Ham Humphrey, Priscilla Banner and Claire Du Bray. "Drucilla" comes com-es to the Orpheum theatre on Sunday Sun-day and Monday for a first showing in this locality. Pathos, comedy and punch are blended in perfect proportions propor-tions in this delightful picture, which was directed by F. Harmon Weight for Associated Arts. |
