Show TUBERCULOSIS TESTS TO BEGIN S00NJNC0UNTY It is a lamented! fact that tuberculosis tubercu-losis claims more victims in the United States at the present Unit than any other disease, and tno death toll is actually greater than that of the world war. But it is fast coming under control because of the cooperative efforts of our federal and state governments with the dairymen dairy-men of the country on the control of the disease among dairy cattle. Dairy products are the best fooi available for human consumption, provided they are produced by heal thy cows, and are properly cared for, after being taken from the cow. But the products of tuberculosis cows are the source of more than 90 per cent of the tuberculosis of the human family. Children are especially sus-ceptable sus-ceptable to bovine tuberculosis, and are needlessly exposed to the disease if given the products of untPSted cows. For thii reason the law requires re-quires that any cow from which dairy dai-ry products In any form are sold shall be tested at least once a year. It does not require that cows from which no product is sold shall be tested!, but certainly no parent will permit dairy products, even from his own cow. to come into tno home and enter the diet of his or her child, if the cow h-.s not been tested and proven to be clean and free from the; dread diseas".
