Show RAY CASTLE RECEIVES MANY CHALANGES The following challenge has been received from Henry Jones of Provo. It tells its own story. Provo, Utah, Feb. 8, 192-; Editor Beaver County News, Milford, Utah. Dear Sir I see that you have a man in Milford Mil-ford who is making great strides toward to-ward the top. I would thank you for enough space in your paper to issue a challenge chal-lenge to your local wrestler. I have wrestledl some of the best men in the game and some of the men that Ray Castle has wrestled. I have wrestled and have the clippings clip-pings to show where I have won handycap matches with Ira Dern, August Sepp, Toots Mont, Mike Yokel. Yo-kel. I have defeated Lesley Davis, Tust Hansen, Cyclone Burns, Ben Perrish, Basanta Singh Art Smertz, and hundreds of others. I have as good a record as any man that ever entered an athletic competition in Utah. I just returned, from a three month trip in the' East, where 1 wrestled the best men and lost only three matches out of seventeen. I would like to meet Ray Castle on his own terms at any time this month. Trusting that you will publish this letter and do what you can to get me a match with your local wrestler, I am yours in sport Henry Jones. In addlition to he above challenges Castle has received challenges from Mirl Christensen, of Cookville, anc from Randall Hicks, middle-weight champion of North Dakota, for a bout to be held in Kemmer Wyo. |
