Show . EDITORS TO HAVE A BIG TIME AT PANGUITCH SOON In the Garfield County News of Friday, January 18, Editor Will J. Peters, we read: "After the city council meeting last Monday morning, the new council coun-cil extended, an official invitation to the editors of Utah, their wives and friends, to hold their meeting sometime some-time during the month of July, in Panguitch and vicinity. The city will be thrown open to them and a rattling good time had by all. "Committees will be appointed later, an3 a good program lookedl after. af-ter. The editors generally meet three days, devoting, probably, the laBt day to the regular business meeting but it is the intention of the committed to try and get the 'pencil pushers' to visit Bryce canyon, Panguitch lake, Blue spring, and probably Castru canyon, in fact let them see all the scenery possible within the time they are allo-wed. "We are positive they will go away with a heart-felt interest in this locality, lo-cality, and will give us more publicity publi-city than all the magazines in the world would give us. Their articles on this section will reach the country coun-try subscribers all over the state; the fellow with his own car, that will be able to take his family and get away from home for a week or two, and' is looking for just such a scenic place as we have in this country to spend his vacation. He will read what the editors have to say, and will come to see us also. He will buy supplies from us, stop at our hotels, camp in our camp grounds, and mingle min-gle with us in general. It will bring an influx of people that the 'master minds' of the north Ao not control; the fellow that takes the trouble to look up things, and has at least a heart-felt interest in his own state of Utah. "The coming of the editors will give us a chance to visit with people peo-ple (hat have the interests of Utah at certain location, and when they go home they will have lots of good things to say about us as we are positive pos-itive that each and every citizen of this community will assist the city council,, the editor of the News, and citizens in general, in entertaining these gentlemen .that form, the, mouth-piece of our state, in a manner man-ner that will cause them to return to their homes and tell their listeners that, they 'had the best time of their ivies.' "We will probably have a big barbecue, bar-becue, program, dance and there will be a chance for every citizen of this section to mingle with and get the ideas of some of the best boosters that ever trod the soil. . ..- .
