Show - SEED SPECIAL In cooperation with the Extension -service , of the Agricultural college and the State department of agriculture agricul-ture the Union Pacific railroad com-I com-I pany is running a seed train through the state. Beginning in Cache Vallej early in February, it ends the tour in Cedar City on the 27th day of the same month. Beaver county is included in their itinerary. The train will make a stop and be open to the public at Milford on February 26 from 7:30 p. m. until ten o'clock. A meeting will be held, and lectures on seed production given giv-en by our best informed specialists. Tills meeting should be of especial interest to the farmers of Beaver county because it appears that we are to become largely a seed producing section, along with our livestock. Alfalfa Al-falfa seed, seed peas, and possibly seed potatoes bid fair to take a prominent prom-inent place in our agricultural regime. re-gime. Lectures will be given on these three lines if enough interested producers pro-ducers are' present. |
