Trapler are here In Milford. They reside in Salt Lake. Joe Deardon of Snake Valley spent Monday here, leaving Tuesday morn ing. Grant Smith, of Baker Nevada, was In town Monday, with a truck load of gasoline. Born, October 2, to Mr. and Mrs. Glen Barnes, a 11 pound boy. All concerned are doing nicely. Ipson left Friday evening for his home at Salt Lake City, after a weeks stay here, with Mr. and Mrs. Ephriam Smith. Ed Bardsley, formerly of here is now located in Salt Lake City and is employed at Aurebach's department depart-ment store. The little eleven month old child of Mr. and Mrs. Kay Yomasaki, who has been quite 111 with pneumonia is recovering nicely. Mr. J. M. Scifers, an official of the Con. Oil. company, spent four days with us of late, and H. J. Snavely, was with him, looking into the oil business. Bird left on Wednesday afternoon to attend the L. D. S. conference and the State fair which are being held there this w Mrs. E. A. Olson returned Sunday evening from Los Angeles, where she has been spending a couple of months visiting visiting her mother, Mrs. D. Cross. Mr. Ryan states that the recent storms have done considerable damage dam-age to the new road recently built from Xewhouse to Garrison, which makes it very poor traveling. Floyd Casterline, freight agent at Salt Lake City, passed through Milford Mil-ford Wednesday on Xo. 3, enroute to California. He will report back to duty Monday morning. Mrs. Cleve Brad field has returned from Beaver where she has been visiting vis-iting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. Gillies, and will remain iere with Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Bradfield for a while. John Banks, brother of Mrs. H. Davis, left here Tuesday afternoon for Salt Lake City, and was operated operat-ed on for appendicitis at the Holy Cross hospital. His condition was very serious, but he is getting along as well as can be expected. Dr. Mansfield, Chiropractor, is moving his family here from Beaver and will occupy the Wm. Herman residence. He will still continue his practice in Beaver. Mrs. George Goodwin, of Beaver, has been spending a few days with her sons, Karl and Harland, at the Montreal mine. She returned home Monday. W. W. Gunnarson and wife of San Francisco, stopped off in Milford on Thursday for a rest, having made the trip from San Francisco to Xew York. They visited all the leading cities en route, and picked out Milford Mil-ford as one of them to rest in. Mr. Gunnarson is a prominent hotel man of San Francisco. Mrs. Tom Bennett, of Salt Lake City, who had been at Beaver to attend at-tend the funeral of her brother, Mr. James Farrer was the guest of Mrs. John Frazure, Wednesday evening, while waiting for her train. She was accompanied by her brother Roger, who has sold his home to his nephew Wesley Farrer. of Beaver, and will make his home with his sister. The management of the Victory theatre has been doing a great deal of repair work at their theatre. Ev erything is being done to make it comfortable and home-like for their patrons. A very cozy looking popcorn pop-corn and candy stand, under able management of Miss Margaret Foth-ing Foth-ing ham, will open within the next few days. Fred Luedtke, who was operated on for appendicitis at the Holy Cross hospital at Salt Lake City, the fore part of last week, is doing fine and hopes to be able to come home very soon. Mrs. Luedtke is with him. The little ten year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. X. Gray, met with a very painful accident last week. While at play, she fell on a lot of old rusty nails and cut a gash in one of her legs. Dr. Pendleton was called cal-led and found it necessary to take several stitches. She is getting along very nicely. A "spite marriage" entered into for hate turns out happily because a wife despises -her husband to such an extent that she refused to oblige him by allowing their married life to e unhappy in "The Thunderbolt." starring Katherine MacDonald and which will be seen at the Victory Theatre Friday and Saturday.
