Show XADA NEWS School opened Monday with Carl-Ion Carl-Ion Culmsee instructor. This marks the tenth school year for "Young Kada." All but one year having been joint Beaver-Iron county schools, the school population still being almost equally divided. Last Thursday Mrs. G. R. Meyers, Mildred and George jr., arrived by motor from San Bernardino to reside on their ranch east of Nada. Mr. Meyers arrived with his immigrant car of stock and household goods Friday Fri-day evening at 9:30 p. m. We are glad to extend to them a warm welcome wel-come home. They were guests at the Culmsee home for a few days. Morgan Edwards and Ren Robinson Robin-son of Paragoonah, called on friends in Xada Tuesday. They were on a tour of inspection of their springs near here and will soon establish their sheep camps for the season. Dan Clark was in Nada Sunday calling on friends, Carlton Culmsee and moving his sheep. Clinton Myers and Frank Western were pine-nutting in Pine Valley Sunday. Messrs. Gentry and Jim Dotson were business visitors at the White House Wednesday. Mrs. H. M. Couch and children and Mrs. L A. Culmsee went to Milford Sunday afternoon. Miss Mildred remained re-mained to attend high school there. Marvin Hughes of Avon, spent Sunday at the White home. The Xorris and Ballard families of Lund, visited at the Stephenson home Sunday. |
