Show Social Activities For This Week OFFICERS AND TEACHERS ENTERTAINED TUESDAY The Presidency of the Y. L. M. I. A. and Y. M. M. I A, entertained the oilicers and teachers at the home of Dr and Mrs. Parrish, Tuesday evening. eve-ning. A most delightful time was spent with music and games, after which a delicious lunch was served. About thirty-five guests were present. FAREWELL PARTY une of the mjjt eventful socials of he season was s'veu at the Milford Mil-ford opera house Monday evening, in aoiior of Mr. an.l Mrs. Jack Whit-tea, Whit-tea, Mr. Whined having sold his interest in-terest in Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Whitted left for Salt Lake Thursday, Thurs-day, where they intend making their future home. The Novelty Syncopators furnished furnish-ed the music and a delightful dancing danc-ing party ensued. Mr. Sam Cline spoke very favorably favor-ably of Mr. and Mrs. Whitted in the presentation of a gift iu behalf of the Volunteer Fire department, followed fol-lowed . by words of appreciation by the host. Refreshments were served and a delightful evening enjoyed by all present. VICTORY REREKAH LODGE A very successful dance was given at the opera house Wednesday evening even-ing by the Rebekah lodge in honor of their seventy-second anniversary, which proved to be a very brilliant success. TEACHERS ENTERTAINED The teachers of last year entertained enter-tained the new teachers nt a jolly party at the home of Miss Kathleen Bohn, Thursday evening. The evening was spent in games Prizes were won by Mrs. Owen Anderson, An-derson, Miss Mae Joseph and Mr. Robert Pixton. A dainty luncheon was served about midnight. JOLLY STITCHERS i , Mrs. Eb. Tanner entertained the Jolly Stitchers at her homo on Tuesday. Tues-day. October 2nd. Needl" work was the entertainment entertain-ment for the evening. Refreshments were served nt 4:30 . -w I). D. H. CLUB Mrs. Maurice Johnson was hostess to the ladies belonging to the D. D. S. club, on Wednesday afternoon. A delightful time was spent In needle work. Refreshment were served by the hostess.
