And since the focal error of even one-sixteenth one-sixteenth of an Inch reduces the can die-power by two-thirds, and since the combined variations in filament, leading-ln wires, stems and bases often exceed ex-ceed a sixteenth of an Inch, it is plain that the insertion of a new bulb Is more than apt to make refocuslng essential es-sential to proper Illumination. |
