Show Miss Barbara Fotheringham returned re-turned Sunday, after spending two weeks in Salt Lake with, her sister, Mrs. Clairmont Nichols. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur May, Mr. and Mrs. James Francis were the guests of the Hardy family last week en route to Los Angeles. Jess Outzen left Wednesday with the Fournier family for Los Angeles, where he will join friends and relatives rela-tives during the next two weeks. Mrs. Vernal Swartspage arrived Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Swartspage intend to make their home in Milford. Mil-ford. Mrs. Effle May and son, Harry, of Eureka, are the guests of Miss Hortense Hardy and her grandmother, grandmoth-er, Mrs. Sarah Orwin. Mrs. L. G. Clay left Sunday for Salt Lake, where she will spend the next two weeks with relatives and friends. Fred Pascal, a well known fireman fire-man on this route, left Wednesday for Los Angeles to spend a couple of weeks with his brother and friends. Dr. Parrish found Tuesday a very successful day, after extracting the tonsils of Lewis Walker, Mrs. C. T. Nowland, Miss Inez Williomson, Mr3 Rudy Garcia and Miss Ireta Walker. Mr. and Mrs. Gruoo, of Salt Lake, were the guests of her mother, Mrs. J. L. Griffiths last week. Mrs. Griffiths Grif-fiths left with them upon their return re-turn home. She will spend the next two weeks with relatives andi friends The S. C. D. I. club was entertained enter-tained Wednesday afternoon by Mrs. George Fernley. Those present were, Mrs. C. R. Parrish, Mrs. C.has. Newhart, Mrs. Clark Kesler, Mrst. Frank Farmer, Mrs. W. M. Mark-ham, Mark-ham, Mrs. C. R. Grimshaw and Mrs. Joe Kinney. Sewing was the fei-ture fei-ture of the afternoon, including a very delicious lunch. Mrs. A. B. Cline and daughters, Louise and Mildred, were the guests of Mrs. Wm. Baker Monday night. Mrs. Cline and daughters have been at Ocean Park, California, for some time. After spending a few days in Beaver with friends and relatives, they will return to their home in Salt Lake. Mrs. D. A. Baxter and little daugh ter, Virginia, have gone to Lawrence burg, Kentucky, They left on Wednesday Wed-nesday of this week. They will visit many relatives and friends in the next few weeks. Mrs. Walter McGoogan of Lincoln. Nebraska, accompanied by her son. Carl, arrived in the city Thursday evening. She came as a surprise to her mother, Mrs. V. M. Palmer and will remain here, visiting with her many relatives for a few weeks. Mr. Phil Orwin returned home Sunday, after spending many months in St. George. Friends are very much delighted to note the improvement in his halth. and welcome him home again. |
