The United Socialists In Uie reiehstng in a party caucus late Saturday afternoon adopted a resolution resolu-tion of "no confidence" toward the present ministry and then drafted a program of economics, financial and political reforms on the basis o which they vouchsafe their support to any future cabineL Upon the basis of their platform they are not averse to entering a coalition government. The Socialist action immediately was reported to Chancellor Cuno, who as a result, was expected to retire from the chancellorship. The Socialist program calls for sweeping, internal, financial and tax reforms, categorical seizure of the tangible assets of industry, commerce i and agriculture as a oovering for the internal gold loan and the introduction introduc-tion of credits and payment of wages on a gold basis. The Socialists also demand Germany's Ger-many's entry into the league of nations na-tions and requested that the new government develop greater activity In foreign politics. The reichwehr is to be cleansed of reactionary elements and put on a strict republican basis. The majority of deputies who participated par-ticipated In Saturday's caucus favor the party's entry into a coalition government. |
