Show P. F. E. PLATFORM IS NEARING COMPLETION Mr. F. E. Boucher, construction superintendent of the Pacific Fruit Express Co. left Milford Wednesday for Sparks, Nevada. Mr. Boucheand part of his crew will return to this city in about three or four weeks tu put the finishing touches on Mil-ford's Mil-ford's new platform. The new icing deck, at this point, while one of the smaller ones now-being now-being built by that company, will be one of the most -up-to-date platforms that are to be found anywhere in the country. At present, twenty-five cava1 can be iced at a time, with the platform plat-form so constructed that it will lx-an lx-an easy matter to convert same into an island platform, which will in-increase in-increase capacity to 50 cars. This feature- giveis evidence that more bus iness is expected in the future, and j in this event the installation of an j ice plant may he expected. |
