Show ORDIXAXCE XO 47 An ordinance levying and assessing assess-ing a tax upon all the blocks, lots and parcels of land in Sewer district Xo. 2, in the Town of Milford. Utah, to defray the costs and expenses of the construction of sewers therein, repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, and declaring an emergency whereby where-by this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication. Be it ordained by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Milford, Utah: Sectionl. That a special and local lo-cal tax is hereby levied and assessed on all the blocks, lots and parcels of land lving within Sewer District No. 2. This tax is levied and assessed ' defray tho costs and expenses of thb construction of an extention of the present sewer system by laying sewer sew-er pipe of the following dimensions, and on the following streets and alleys al-leys between the following points: 10 Inch Pipe Beginning at a point on the center cen-ter line of the alley between blocks 13 and 16. (Milford Townsite) 20 feet north of the north property line of block 13; running thence south along the center line of alley between blocks 13 and 16 to a point where it intersects the center line of 7th Avenue; thence west along the center cen-ter line of 7th Avenue to a point where it intersects the center line of Stoddard Street; thence south along al-ong the center line of Stoddard Street to a point where it intersects the center line of 9th Avenue; thence west along the center cen-ter line of 9th Avenue to a point where it intersects the center line of South Milford Place; thence south along the center line of South Milford Mil-ford Place to a point where it intersects inter-sects the southern boundary of Milford Mil-ford Heights Sub-division; thence west along the southern boundary line of Milford Heights Sub-division to a point where it intersects the center cen-ter line of Walrus Street; thence north along the center line of Walrus Wal-rus Street to a point where it intersects inter-sects the center line of 6th Avenue, (i Inch Pipe Beginning at a point 50 feet east of the northwest corner of block 13 and 20 feet north of the north property prop-erty line of block 13, said point being be-ing at the westerly end of the present pres-ent sewer on 5th Avenue; running thence west on a 20 foot offset from the north property line of block 13 fn " noint on the center line of Lew-: Lew-: is Sfreet; thence north along the I center line of Lewis sfreet to a point ooro'site a poo.: on the east property proper-ty "line of block 25. approximately 6 5 feet south of the northeast corner cor-ner of block 25. Beginnflig at a point 30 feet south of the intersection of the center line of 5th Avenue and the center line of Stoddard Street; running thence south along the center lin? of Stoddard Stod-dard Street to a point where it in-fresects in-fresects with the center line of 6th Avenue; thence west along the center cen-ter line of 6th Avenue to a point where it intersects with the center line of Lewis Street. 4 Inch Pipe Beginning at a point opposite the west property line of block 18 on the center line of 7th avenue; running run-ning thence east along the center line of 7th Avenue to a point where it. intersects with the center line of Stoddard Street. Beginning at a point opposite the west property line of block 19 on the center line of Sth Avenue; running thence east along the center line of St.h Avenue to a uoint where it intersects inter-sects with the center line of Stoddard Street. Beginning at a point where the center lines of Sth Avenue and Utah Street intersect; running thence East along the center line of Sth Avenue Av-enue to its intersection with the center cen-ter line of Walrus Street. Beginning at a point at the intersection inter-section of the center line of 5th Avenue and Walrus Street; running thence south along the center line of Walrus Street to a point where it intersects with the center line of 6th Avenue; running thence easterly easter-ly along 6th Avenue to connect with tho 6 inch pipe at the intersection of the centpr lines of 6th Avenue and Lew-is Street. All of said land being within the corporate limits of the Town of Milford, Mil-ford, Beaver County, Utah, and within with-in the boundaries of Sewer District No. 2 of said' town. Section 3. Said tax shall become due, payable and delinquent in five equal installments as follows: One fifth shall become delinquent in fifty days after the date of t tax levy. One fifth in one year. One fifth in two years. One fifth in three years, and One fifth in four years, after said date of levy. Each and every one of the installments install-ments of said tax, except the first, shall bear interest at the rate of sev-'it sev-'it per centum per annum from date of levy, said interest to be payable pay-able with each installment of the tax, and all installments shall bear interest at the rate of ten per cen-'tim cen-'tim per annum from the date of linquency until paid. In case any in-;failment, in-;failment, of the said tax shall 1" eonie delinquent, all installments i'v--v.'id-sba1! immediately fall duo a-"'hie. a-"'hie. and shall he likewise de ''"f"i;nt. Section 4 The board of trustees of the Town of Milford. Utah r ''e and they are hereby appointed a board of equalization and review and when the assessment list and elat have been prepared and filed in "'e office of the town, clerk and salr' hoard shall give at least five days' "otice of the times and place when and where board will meet as required re-quired by law. Section 5. All ordinances, resolutions resolu-tions or orders, or parts of the same in conflict herewith are hereby declared de-clared recinded and annulled, and. this ordinance being for the preservation preser-vation of the peace, health and safe ty of the inhabitants of the Town of Milford shall be in full force and effect ef-fect from and after its passage, au-proval au-proval and publication.
