Show THIRD PARTY" i j At the present time there is a large number of voters throughout the country who are not satisfied with the nominees or the platforms of the two major parties, and it is very natural and right that those voters should wish to vote for some candidate who more nearly represents repre-sents their views and for that reason rea-son the third party movement has been organized. It may be difficult for 'all to ag-! ag-! ree upon any one candidate for that j purpose, but the effort is being made 1 with considerable success. ', The platforms of both old parties I were largely the results of compro-i compro-i mises of different ideas held by diff- erent factions within those parties, and it is evident that if the third j party movement is to receive any measure of success, it will have to compromise the different ideas held by its many members. No political platform was ever adopted which was satisfactory to all the members of the party adopting it, and bo, after af-ter all the tickets are in the field and all the platforms have been adopted, l win ie me privilege aim uuiy ui all the voters to carefully consider them and then vote for the. ones Which most nearly represent the voters vot-ers idea end thus do their duty to their country and to themselves. |
