Show A REUNION PARTY The L. D. S. Ward gave a reunion party in the form of a program and served some fruits fresh from the Dixie of Utah. The party seemed to be a success as far as it is possible for a party of that kind to be. By which we mean that it was a social success but not a particular success in the financial line. One of the features of the evening was the introduction intro-duction and drafting into the entertainment enter-tainment service of the ward of Milford Mil-ford school teachers who were present, pres-ent, the County Supt. Karl G. Maeser and a number of the teachers from Minersville who happened to be over here in company with the superintendent. superin-tendent. The ward wished by this to get the feachers acquainted with the people and the people pcqualnten with the teachers. We can say that the teachers responded very well to the call for entertainment and showed show-ed that they will be a valuable asset to the community. One of the very interesting features of the evening was the splendid talk given by Supt. Maeser. Another interesting featnm was the nerving of watermelons. grape9 and peaches. wMch bad ar rived from Dixie that afternoon. . |
