Show " u Milford is preparing to celebrate the Fourth of July. There will be a program pro-gram in the morning and games in the afternoon. This is a day that should be celebrated appropriately this year. It will not be exactly the old fashioned celebration with lots of noise and smoke anywhere, for beginning with the Fourth this year the day hereafter will have a new meaning. We can see now, as never before, what the men of 1776 did for us, and what the heritage is that they handed down to us not not only freedom and the love for it, but also the willingness to fight for freedom, free-dom, not alone for ourselves, but for the whole world. |
