Show BIRTHDAY PARTY A party was given for Wanda Johnson on June 17th. the occasion being her twelfth birthday. A regular dinner course ofroast chicken was served, followed by ice cream. There was also a large birthday birth-day cake decorated in pink, and at each guest's place was a small cake decorated with one candle. There were place cards and unique paper table decorations, the color scheme being in pink. The centerpiece was of roses, and small electric lights hung overhead in two rows. There were thirty invited guests, including Alice Wynaught, Vera Munford, Ruth Elmer. Helen and Alice Ward, Katie .Stoddard, June McCarrol, Frances Ann Sloan, Mildred Mil-dred Fotheringham, Bessie Kellum. Gertrude Baxter, Delia Kirk, Christie McCloud, Venice Bushnell. Margaret Verson, Irene Tanner, Sara Berry. Jack Bardsley. Howard Tanner. Rowland Bird, Ronald Runswick, Charles Glenn, Jack Hilliary, James Hedges, Valentine Dobbs,, Angus McCloud, Mc-Cloud, James Brownson of Salt Lake, Lon Mclntyre, Roger Bushnell and Ross Johnson. Three prizes were given and were won by Vera Munford. Roger Bushnell Bush-nell and Rowland Bird. The lucky ones to get the money in the cake were Alice Ward, Bessie Kellum and Jack Hilliary. Many beautiful and useful presents were given and all the young folks enjoyed themselves to the fullest extent, and all claimed it was the most beautiful party given in Milford. , : |
