Show MAKE THE LITTLE ONES HAPPY Christmas means so much more to them than to us. Christmas is the Red Letter dya on the calendar, and they look forward to it with a spirit "of childish anticipation tha' ?lows more fervently as the proaches. They are the little candles can-dles on the holiday cake, and they gleam and flutter with such merriment merri-ment that we are soon consciously affected by the significance of the season. Keep their ideals unsullied: let them cherish the thought that Santa Claus is a benevolent being who comes down the chimney with his pack and remembers th children who are good. We delighted delight-ed In these fancies when childhood was not aware of the grim realities of life; and. now. they have taken our places in that kintergarden of human existence which is like honey hon-ey comb to our memories. The frost is on the window sill; Oh. hear the merry jingle! It is the time the children think Of jolly, old Kris Kringle. W.S.S. Mr. Randall, of Long Beach. Cal., arrived this morning to assist Mr. and Mrs. Brooks during their illness, j Mr. Randall is the father of Mrs. Brooks. j Miss Funk, a graduate of the County Coun-ty hospital at Salt (Lake. came in Tuesday night on No. 3. and is worthing worth-ing on the day shift with Mrs. C. H. Bryans. We are glad to here that Engineer Shurley and Fireman Rinehart. who have been sick at the hospital, are able to go to their home in Salt. Lake to spend Christmas. i- Mrs. Brumbley and family, with the exception of ore boy. twelve J years old. are able to he at their I home again, which kind friends have made warm and comfortable for i them.
