Show CANADIAN ORDER LIMITS HOLDINGS HOLD-INGS OF HEAT AND SUGAR. A Canadian order in council provides pro-vides that no person, with the exception ex-ception of manufacturers of flour, bakers, confectioners, wholesale or retail dealers, or persons living at a greater distance than two miles from a licensed dealer, shall hold or have In his possession or under his control con-trol more flour, made wholly or ir part from wheat, than is sufficient for his ordinary requirements for a per lod not exceeding fifteen days. Anyone living at a distance great er than two miles and less than fiv miles from a licensed dealer ma-hold ma-hold or control flour made wholl-or wholl-or In part from wheat up to p amount sufficient for his ordinary re quirements for a period not exceed ing thirty days. Anyone livinp more than five and less than te-miles te-miles from a licensed dealer mav have sufficient for his ordinary requirements re-quirements up to sixty days, while r person living more than ten mile-from mile-from such a dealer may have sufficient suffi-cient for his ordinary requirements for a period up to 120 days. Any wholesale or any retail dealer deal-er licensed by the Canadian food board may not hold flour made who! !y or in part from wheat in exces-of exces-of a quantity sufficient for his ordi nary trade requirements for a per iod exceeding sixty days. The regulation regarding sugar parallels this save in the last clause Manufacturers, wholesalers, or retailers re-tailers may not have more sugar than is required for a .period ex ceeding 45 days. |
