Mr. and Mrs. Peter Dunser are rejoicing re-joicing over the arrival ot a fine baby girl which arrived last Friday. Simon Hayes left for Venture, County, California' ou Wednesday to look after his other farming interest in that county. He expects to return to Milford in the Fall. Joseph Joins has removed his family to Milford, where they are in their new residence. The event was celebrated cele-brated by the arrival of a fourteen pound boy. If you meet a seven-by-nine smile along the road, that's Joseph. Word has been received of the dcith of Mr. Donaldson, who was taken to Modesto. California, for an operation, a few weeks ago. The operation was apparently successful and the patient seemed to be recovering, but a . sudden turn for the worse proved to be fatal. Mrs. J. S. Murdock, a well-known and respected resident of the Project, died suddenly last Friday evening, within three hours after returning from an auto ride, death being from an organic trouble. Apparently in fairly good health, tbe sudden taking" off of Mrs. Murdock came as a great shock to the community and her family. The deceased was a most estimable woman and her loss will be felt. She leaves, beside hor husband, a young child to mourn her demise. The sympathy of the entire valley i with the sticken family. The funeral took place on Monday at Minersville. |
