Show Alex Ross came down from the hills for a short time this week. - Scores of French hills are being leveled to make baBeball grounds for the American soldiers to use with equipment furnished by the T. M. C. A. If nothing unforseen happens, Geo. Atkin will spend "Mothers' Day" in Milford. George expects to secure a furlough at once, but it is not a real certainty. Mrs. Jas. Howd returned from Salt Lake City Friday to get her children and then return to the city. She will continue treatments for her ear for several weeks. Mrs. W. R. Martin, who has undergone under-gone an operation for appendicitis at the L. D. S. hospital, is Improving Improv-ing nicely and is now at her mother's moth-er's home In Salt Lake City. She will remain there until she Is strong enough to return home. "Babe" Thelssen had a painful though not serious accident Thursday. Thurs-day. He fell down the stone steps coming from the top of the hill and broke his wrist. S. R. Wilkinson happened to see him and brought him down to the doctor's office, where the bone was set, and today the boy is around feeling all right. |
