Show PLAY GROUND NIGHT SUCCESS The attractions at the picture show on Friday and Saturday for th benefit bene-fit of the Kiddies play grounds, ri rattan ratt-an immense crowd for both evenings. The picture was greatly enjoyed and when it was announced that Mr. Jack Summerhays would sing, the audience was in breathless stillness, and drank in every melodious note. It was an event that was cnjnved'in a wonderful manner. Miss Johnson pave her solo in a very pleasing manner. Little Stannie Atkin. as he used to be called, a few years back, In his birth place, Milford, surprised the audience with his violin solos. As the young student first started out, he seemed just a little nervous, but soon regained composure and then pure melody came forth from the violin. People were amazed at his rendition of such difficult pieces. He played both nights and received hearty applause both evenings and responded to the encores. Mrs. Dobson did wonderful work at the piano. Much gratitude is given out to Mr. Kesler for his generosity in giving the entire proceeds for the two evenings ev-enings for the benefit of the Kiddles plav ground. |
