Show THERMAL ENGINEERING BIG SUCCESS IX HEATING PLANTS The former heating system at Hotel Ho-tel Atkin was never successful. An unusual quantity of coal was always used, but never any results. The Thermal Engineering company of Salt Lake City, sent their representative represent-ative Mr. J. A. Midgley here to look into the proposition and direct the work, so it would conform to the system now being put in the new building. After two weeks of renovating ren-ovating and adjusting, the plant was fired up and pronounced perfect. Rooms that never raised one degree de-gree from freezing point in the winter win-ter are now delightfully warm and pleasant. Mrs. Atkin has surely been fortunate for-tunate in securing services from the class of mechanics and workmen that are now erecting this large building, as visitors going in the building are amazed at the thoroughness thorough-ness and substantiability of the work. Mr. Marks, who has charge of the construction here, is putting both his best efforts to make this structure struc-ture one that will be a big asset to our city. |
