Show REALITY ON THE FARM No one has a fuller conception of the word "reality" than the farmer. He deals with reality every day of his life. He does not know the meaning of compromise there is no such thing; in nature. And if he is a successful farmer he probably prob-ably markets the products of his farm as realistically as he raises them. Millions of fanners throughout the country have banded together in local groups and formed marketing cooperatives. These cooperatives are owned and operated by the fanners themselves. They are not subsidized, they do not attempt to mulct the consumer. They are designed solely to create more stable marketing, better distribution methods, and to promote fair and reasonable prices. They are run on a sound business basis and are of ever increasing importance in modem agriculture. They are the fanner's answer to reality. AT |
