Murdock jr. had entertained enter-tained at a childrens party in honor of her little daughter Marion Betty's ninth birthday. Those present pre-sent were Margaret Williams, Aleen Blandpied, Marjorie Mark-sheffel, Mark-sheffel, Eleanor Schuller, Ann and Estelle Nebeker, Reba Korns, Adrian Ad-rian Root, Vie Cartwright, Dorothy and Robert Murdock. Mrs. Paul Evans had entertained j the Spoon club with Mrs. J. R. i Murdock jr. winning a spoon and i Mrs. Evans being presented with ' a spoon. Those present were Mes-j Mes-j dames William Elmer, C. C. Sloan, George Harris, Bert Moore, John ! Williams, J. Blumberg and J. R. ! Murdock jr. Mrs. Karl Levi was given a sur-I sur-I prise party in honor of her birth- day. 500 was played with Mrs. Gene Pitehforth winning high score prize. A basket lunch was served to the following: Mesdames Will Fernley, George Fernley, G. Pitch-forth, Pitch-forth, H. H. Pitehforth, James Tanner, E. Bird, Clark Kesler, Hugh Cartwright, A. J. Izatt, John White, Dave Tanner, Christy Lee and A. Johnson. Mrs. Hattie Tanner was hostess at an afternoon card party. The guests wereMrs. James Lang, Mrs. Stott, Mrs. E. R. Smith, Mrs. Harvey Har-vey Hedges, Mrs. Myron Lewis and Mrs. J. Weston. Mrs. Jos. Bloomberg entertained at a 500 card party. Those present included Mesdames William Fernley, Fern-ley, J. R. Murdock jr., C. C. Sloan, William Elmer, J. M. Williams, Paul Evans, A. C. Nebeker, H. H. Pitehforth, James Tanner, Charles Newhart, Lulu Germo, George Fernley, T. B. Russell, Russell Parsons, O. J. Davis, Enis Jones, J. Haymond, Karl Levi, Martin Reisner, C. J. Mclntire, Phil Or-win Or-win and C. W. Swanson. Mrs. H. Humphreys had entertained enter-tained at a party for the following guests: Irene Chapman, Alta Griffiths, Grif-fiths, Althea Schow, Merle Pitch-forth, Pitch-forth, Marcia Levi, Margaret Levi, Winnie Fernley, Lillian Tanner, Juanita Hickman, Leona James, Sam Hickman, Harold Carlson, Miles White, Roy White, "Warren I Atkin, Morris Johnson, Walter Griffith, Levon Bird and Hi Humphries. Hum-phries. One of the jolliest groups ever gathered at the M. E. church, was a party for Mrs. William Leland Gray, a bride of that week. Mrs. Roy Cottrell, as hostess, was assisted as-sisted by Mrs. George Rogers, Mrs. C. W. Stewart and Mrs. W. F. Cottrell. Cot-trell. The Choir club had been enter--tained by Mrs. Nels Schow and the afternoon had been spent preparing prepar-ing work for a bazaar. Mrs. James Tanner had entertained enter-tained at a candy pull in honor of her son Delos' 13th birthday. Fred Jefferson was back in the butcher shop at the Jefferson Mercantile Mer-cantile company, after spending a couple of weeks working in his mine, the Red Warrior j I Mr. and ' Mrs. D. N. Hickman were happy over the arrival of a I fine boy at their home, November ; 30, 1921. ' Roy Fournier had received a j cablegram announcing the birth of adaughter, born to Mrs. Fournier j at the home of her parents at Lei : Boncare, France. |
