Show Not Wash Day, But Every Day At A Mine 745;; A . ; j M . f i Hi ' I ! This is not a Chinese laundry, but a locker room at the Tintic Standard mine in Eureka. The clothing hanging above is the working "duds" of the miners. It is hung in this manner to dry and is given a thorough airing by circulating cir-culating air currents. These locker rooms are steam heated and hot and cold showers are provided in an adjoining room tor the men to use as they come off shift. The men shown in the above picture pic-ture have just completed then shift underground and some arc making ready to find recreation while others turn to chores a their farms in Goshen valley. |
