They were to reside in Milford after a honeymoon trip I through California. The Service Star Legon and Ameriican Legion had given one cf the greatest balls of the . season li Armistice day, with various entertaining features during the' eveninig. Mr. and Mrs. Billy Nichols had been visiting in Bingham. Waddoups, Merle Miller and Floyd Casterline. I The liigh" school orchestra had made its first appearance in public pub-lic in the L. D. S. church. The! orchestra had fourteen members j under the leadership of Professor; Chrhtensen. Sara Cline had received from Governor Bamberger a certificate of honor issued by the state of Utah, to be given to all service men from Milford, Nada and Frisco. Fris-co. Each certificate was the work I of art and those issued to the onesj who had died in service bad been! headed at the top with a gold ! star belonging to Mrs. Edwards and Mrs. S. H. Harrington and Mrs. Keith of Nada. Mrs. Mary Ann Singleton of Greenville had died at the age of 96 years. She was the mother of of Charles Singleton and grand- j mother of Mrs. Gene Kirk and Mrs. Faye Hickman. ! i Mrs. P. J. Adams had represented repre-sented the Milford Service Star legion at a big convention held in Salt Lake City at the Hotel Utah. J. D. Ryan and wife, H. P. Ryan and John Ryan had all been in from Pine Grove and all were to spend the winter in California. S. W. Stoker had been, offering a $2.00 reward for a good Democrat. Demo-crat. C. A. Arringg-ton had purchased the Bishop Burns residence on the hill, and J. M. Griffiths and family had moved from Frisco and was to occupy the house. Those taking "part in the Sunday night M. I.
