Mother and baby are doing fine. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Malstrom re-clays re-clays visit in California, where they attended the fair at San Diego. Mrs Harold Goats of Salt Lake parents, Mr. and Mrs. ito gvc Si City visited over Tuesday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ixvi. Mrs. H. V. Shields left Tuesday night for her home in Salt Lake City after visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Allen Carter, and family. Judge Herbert Nichols, who has been sick the past ten days, is much improved. Mrs. Leah Richards Rich-ards is taking his place at the postoffice. - A number of women met at the home of Mrs. Sam Cline Tuesday evening for a few hours of contract con-tract bridge, those present being Mesdames Carl Link, H. V. Carlson, Carl-son, George Jefferson, Val Yep-sen, Yep-sen, Harold Cline, R. R. Shannon and J- R. Murdock jr. Mrs. Virginia De Lury left for her home in Salt Lake City Wednesday Wed-nesday after visiting with her father, Judge Herbert Nichols, who is ill. Clair Nichols and sister sis-ter Peggy also left for their home in Salt Lake City Sunday following a visit with their father. The Big Four bridge club was .entertained at the home of Mrs. B. E. Hutchins Wednesday night with Mrs. Wilson . Moore receiving the prize. Those present were 'Mesdames Wilson Moore, J. C. Jeffers, Ray Malstrom, J. H. Han-Ion, Han-Ion, J. J. Keough, G. C. Cuddy, Lloyd Lee and A. L Webb. Miss Mary Banks was hostess to a number of girl friends at a bridge party last Thursday night. Those present were the Misses Margaret Cochrane, Ruth Pool, Lucile Frazier, Maxine Kirk, Lois Williams, Norma White and Beth Coleman. Those present were Mesdames John Williams, Wil-liams, C. W. Catef, Rudolph N'iel-en, N'iel-en, J. R. Murdock, George Fern-ey, Fern-ey, Myron Lewis, M. H. Pool and William Cochrane. The Pierian club met at the home of Mrs. L. G. Clay Monday evening with the following present: pre-sent: Mesdames J. R. Murdock sr., I. L. Kelly, 0. C. Koch, J. R. Johnston, D. S. Williams, Roy White sr., Vena E. Wilson, Ed Bardsley and Caleb Diividian. The lesson of the evening was the reading of several chapters from the book "Hunger Fighters." Short articles were read and discussed dis-cussed after whiich a dainty lunch was served by the hostess. |
