Show Caliente Team Is Trimmed, 6 to 2, In Sunday Game : BEA Eli-MILLARD LEAGUE Team Won Lost Pet. Milford 2 0 1.000 Delta 2 1 .660 Beaver 2 1 .666 Kanosh 1 2 .333 ! Antelope Sp. CCC 1 2 .333 Fillmore 0 2 .000 Playing high type baseball behind be-hind the excellent pitching cf Roy Coleman, the Milford league baseball base-ball team chalked up another victory vic-tory over a worthy opponent Sunday Sun-day when they won from a picked Caliente team by a score cf 6 to 2. The game was played on the local lo-cal diamond a little later in the afternoon than usual in order to accomodate the visitors who had expected to ibe late in arriving, and there was a good crowd out to see the contest. A five-run lead over the visiters in the third inning was too much of a handicap for them to overcome, over-come, even without the additional tally in the eighth, Caliente finding find-ing themselves unable to convert their seven hits, the same as Milford Mil-ford got, into more than two tal-lys tal-lys and these not until right near the end of the game. This game was a non-league game, of course, having been arranged ar-ranged for one of Milford's open dates. League play is schedulea to be resumed Sunday when Milford Mil-ford goes to Delta to cross bats with that crew, which is rather an unknown quantity, while Beaver takes on the Antelope Springs CCC camp team on the former's home ground and Fillmore, league cellar occupant, goes to Kanosh.
