Fit!! of the Milford New ot rwi2,W fifteen years ago. this week One of the most instructive and I enthusiastic safety meetings ever held on the L. A. & S. L. R. R., had been held in Milford with about 70 officers and employes in attendance. This division was pre. sentid with a beautiful silk banner won by it for holding- first place in safety. Beaver City had celebrated the completition of the new lighting system on the two blocks of Main street and three blocks west on the Beaver-Milford highway. At the regular meeting of the Milford Lions club, Sam Cline, chairman of the school grounds committee, had made a final report re-port on its activities and had given a statement of cash received and paid out by the committee. Cash received was $550.95 and cash paid out was the same. M. P. Lewis had under construction construc-tion a brick building on the lot between the Morris & Sons Feed store and the Lew Williams building. build-ing. When completed it was to be occupied by the Gordon Jewelry company. Karl S. Carlton had been the principal speaker at the dedication of the Beaver Odd Fellows hall. V |
