" .'''W Fifteen years ago, this week j i The Lions club was making preparations pre-parations for a big time at their charter night celebration to be held September 20. Mrs. Ren Bohn had entertained at "500" and mah jongg, with Mrs. Abe Fotheringham winning the prize at "500" and Mrs. Joseph R. Murdock at mah jongg. Others present were Mrs. Charles Him-street Him-street and daughter Beth, Mrs. O. J. Davis, Mrs. C. C. Sloan and Miss Louise Levi. Mrs. C. W. Gates had broken her arm while she was closing a window during a hard storm. Miss Dorothy Murdock had entertained at a handkerchief shower for Miss Mattie Bobn, who was going to Los Angeles to attend at-tend school. Those present were Phyllis Levi, Mildred Killam, Ora Hutchings, Helen Harring, Olive Johnson, Verna Bird and Elma Hickman. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jones had announced the arrival of a baby girl, born September 10. Fred Cottrcll had left for Los Angeles where he was t attend the Oxidental college. Mrs. Carl Levi had entertained in honor of her two daughters, Mrs. Miles Wbite of Caliente and Mrs. Owen Tanner of Cdar City. Those present were Mrs. Fred Levi and daughter Louise. Mrs. May Chilton. Mrs. Roy Wbite, Mrs. Ross Lane, Mrs. Harry Coon, Mrs. Warren Atkin and Miss Letha Schow. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Olsen had entertained at five tables of bridge' in honor of Mrs. William L. Dorsen of Los Angeles, Miss Eden of j Riverside. California and Miss j Beth Himstreet. who was to leave j soon to attend schrol at Notre, Dame. Those present were Mrs. E. A. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Himstreet. Mrs. Sloan, Mrs. Elmer, Mrs. Charles Moore, Mrs. Theis-?en. Theis-?en.
