Show MINERSVILLE Mr. and Mrs. Oliver -Graff and daughters, Helen, Carol Jean and Elsie Kay, of Salt Lake City, former for-mer residents of Minersville, spent the week-end here with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dotson and children of Salt Lake City are guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Dotson. ' Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Fotheringham Fothering-ham and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Dunham of Hollywood, California, and Mrs. Arminta Ball of Lehi, are here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Fotheringham. The men are enjoying a few days hunting hunt-ing deer. This is the first time in 20 years that (Hajrry Fotheringham Fothering-ham and his sister, Mrs. Ball, have seen each other. Mrs. Herbert L. Hall and daughter daugh-ter Marylin spent the week-end in iSalt Lake City with relatives. Milton Albrecht, who is employed employ-ed at Nephi, spent the week-end here. Miss LaBerta Griffiths of Cedar City has been here for a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reese Griffiths. Mrs. Sidney Carter is spending a week at Salt Lake City, visiting her daughter, Mrs. F. O. Wafts and son, Neil Carter. Billie Fotheringham, son of Mrs. Ireta Albrecht, was the honored guest at a farewell party Thursday Thurs-day night'. He will enter the Mission Mis-sion home at Salt Lake City October Oc-tober 30 to spend ten days before leaving for Argentina on a mission for the L. D. S. church. Claude Whitehead of California visited here with his sister, Mrs. Fern Hall, the first of the week. Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Hall made a business trip to Cedar City Monday. Mon-day. The ward M. I. A. gave the following fol-lowing program Sunday night: The M. I. A. Theme, 'by Geneive Robinson; ladies trio, June Pearson, Pear-son, Wilma Davis and Vera Dal-tort; Dal-tort; retold story, Beth Craw; talk, "Unity In the Home", Mrs. Hallie Murdock. Miss Nona Marshall spent the week-end here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Marshall. Miss Marshall is teaching school in the Jordan district. |
