Show 11,775 FEMALE DEER PERMITS AUTHORIZED Utah's board of big game control, con-trol, following a series of meetings with sportsmen und stockgrowers throughout the stute, has authorized author-ized the issuance of 11,775 female (leer permits for the 1946 fall hunting hunt-ing season, Ross Leonard, state fish and game director, announced today. Tim number, he pointed out, will be the lowest issue of doe permits since 1939. In 1945, the big game !-oard authorized 14,500 permits. In addition, the board has authorized au-thorized 5000 permits for the taking tak-ing of deer of either sex These hunts will he conducted on problem prob-lem areas thruout the state, most of them to follow the regular Jeer season, Oct. 19 thru Oct. 29.
