Hunter attended a Mother and Son entertainment at the Granite high school in Salt Lake City, last week-end as the guest of her son Oren, who is a , senior at the high school. i I Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bradshaw and ' children, Joy, Carol Jean and Bon-j Bon-j nie; Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Edwards I and children, Larrie, Sally and Pamela; Mr. and Mrs. Thurland Sly and son Russell motored to Beaver Saturday, where they attended at-tended a birthday party in honor of their mother and aunt, Mrs. George Bradshaw of Beaver. Mrs. Phyllis Erickson was hostess host-ess to her bridge club Wednesday. The evening was spent in playing bridge and at a late hour a delicious deli-cious plate lunch was served to the following members: Mrs. Bill Falmer, Mrs. Gladys Bird, Mrs. Laura Bradfield, Mrs. Eva Banks, Mrs. Garnet Garfield, Mrs. Ann Lee, and Mrs. Marjorie Manion. Mrs. Lee won high point prize, Mrs. Bradfield honors, and Mrs. Manion was awarded consolation. Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Edwards and daughter Pamela returned to Mil- .; ford Friday after spending several clays in Salt Lake City. Wayne and Douglas, small sons j -f Mr. and Mrs. James Hardy, had iieir tonsils removed Monday at I the Milford hospital. Both are doing very nicely. Mrs. Ann Lee was called to Cali-ente Cali-ente on Friday of last week because i of the illness of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Sullivan. She returned to Milford Wednesday, and reports that Mrs. Sullivan is recuperating satisfactorily. - Mrs. Mary A. Bowler returned to her home in Enterprise on Wednesday, Wed-nesday, after spending several days at the home of her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James Hardy. ! Miss Virginia Baxter left Monday for Louisville, Ky.. where she will '! spend a month visiting with relatives rela-tives and friends. Margaret Lund returned to her home in Milford last Wednesday, after spending several days in Salt Lake Cty. Mrs. Merrill Edwards and Mrs. Dan Holbrook and daughter Connie arrived in Milford Tuesday after spending ten days in Salt Lake City visiting relatives and friends. Mrs. Thurland Sly entertancd on Friday of last week in honor of the anniversary of her husband's birthday. The evening was spent in playing pinochle, with Howard Lund winning the high prize for the men and Water Carlton taking consolation. For the ladies, Mrs. Vera Wale took high and Mrs. Maurine Moore, low. Tt a late hour a hot plate lunch was served to the following couples: Mr. and Mrs. Water Carlton, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Edwards, Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Lund, Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Aagard, Mrs. Gladys Bird, Mrs. Vera Wale and Mrs. Maurene Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Wate spent Wednesday in Cedar City on business. busi-ness. Mrs. Norma Edwards was hostess host-ess to her card club Monday night. During the evening pinochle was played. Norma Aagard was awarded award-ed high prize, Vera Wate, second, and Maurene Miller, consolation. At 12 o'clock a delicious plate lunch wa.s served to Mrs. Alma Sly, Mrs. Maurene Miller, Mrs. Vera Wate, Mrs. Roma Carlton, Mis. Gladys Bird, Mrs. Norma Aagard and Mrs. Noma Bradshaw. |
