Show Wi STEFFEN ON RADIO IN SUMMER SCHOOL COURSE ; Two useful and highly practical courses on agricultural journalism and extension method were studied by extension workers at the summer sum-mer school held during the past three weeks at the Utah State Agricultural Ag-ricultural College. This was tiie report of County Agent Hyrum Steffen, who returned from Logan on Sunday. As part of his training, Mr. Steffen Stef-fen gave an eight minute radio broadcast over the Intermountain j Network on June 14. His subject $ was control of liverfluke in livestock live-stock r.razing on wet pastures. Kenr.eth Warner, extension meat -specialist with the U. S. Department Depart-ment of Agriculture, conducted the class in extension methods. This class dealt wiht the ways of doing more effective teaching and should prove useful in conducting extension exten-sion work in the county, says Mr. Steffen. Approximately 35 county agents, home demonstration agents and state specialists attended the school |
