After a short business meeting a program by grade students was presented which included a song by Master Nolen Hughes, talks on history characters by Josephine Hickman and Helen Jean Schow, both from Mr. Heslington's sixth grade, and a little skit presented pre-sented by several students from the fourth grade. The reward offered of-fered to the grade having the most parents present representing them, was won by Dave Heslington's Hesling-ton's sixth grade. The parents and teachers then adjourned to the auditorium and there participated in a number of games conducted by Miss Gladys Coleman. After the games, refreshments were served by the officers of the organization. The fourth Wednesday of each month was definitely decided upon to hold the regular P.-T. A. meetings meet-ings and more parents are urged to be out as subjects of importance pertaining to the school and homes are asked and discussed at every meeting. |
