Show Entertain Friends On Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. I. Altman entertained enter-tained Sunday evening, February 16, at the Masonic hall in honor of their twentieth wedding anniversary, anni-versary, though the motif was not disclosed to any of the guests until un-til later in the evening. At 6:30 o'clock forty Masonic brothers, Eastern Star sisters and a few other guests sat down to a well appointed luncheon which was thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed. The Altman daughters, Lois, Shirley and Maxine, assisted assist-ed in serving and attending to the comfort of the guests. Plates of j assorted candies, bowls of pink carnations, and a large pink and white wedding cake the gift of Mrs. Altman's sisters gave a festive air to the occasion. Later in the evening bridge afforded af-forded entertainment for the guests, with Mrs. David S. Williams Wil-liams receiving high score for the ladies and O. C. Koch winning the honors for the men. Mr. and Mrs. Altman were such gracious hosts that it was Hate when the friends said goodnight, after extending hearty congratulations congratu-lations and good wishes to this fine couple. Always occasions of this kind are pleasurable to all who participate, but this anniversary anniver-sary party was especially so because be-cause of the fine hospitality of those who gave it and the spirit of sincere appreciation with which each guest entered into the enjoyment of the evening. |
