Major McGinnis and Corporal Towers, who were flying a Lockheed Electra plane from Salt Lake City to March field, California, were forced to land at the Milford airport because be-cause of weather conditions. While waiting for the weather to clear i up, Corporal Towers was our guest I at camp. He stayed over from ! Saturday to Monday morning. The weather then became favorable for flying and the big plane took off again. James Berry and Tony Giles returned re-turned from the Milford hospital this week. They have completely recovered from attacks cf flu. Robert Hollingsworth lost a tooth Monday. He didn't regret his loss at all for the tooth had been giving him some trouble. The Milford dentist did the extracting. Clyde Tervort, a DG-35 foreman, spent the week-end at Boulder dam. Lieutenant Egan, Ashley Workman and Pershing Breaux accompanied him on the trip. |
