Show "Notes From L A." On Friday, March -6, the former Milford girls met at the home of Mrs. Lola Tanner in Los Angeles, according to Mrs. J. K. Jillson, the former Laurel Johnston of South Milford, of 2104 Pepper St., Bur-bank, Bur-bank, California. The evening was spent in reminiscences of our "growing-up" days in Milford, and in discussing our husbands and childs-en. Delicious refreshments were served 'o Mrs. Margaret Cheatham, Cheat-ham, Mrs. Maxine Roberts", Mrs. Maude Messlnger, Mrs. June Sherwood, Sher-wood, Mrs. Betty Sherwood, Mrs. Millie Outzen, Mrs. Margaret Hutchins, Mrs. Marjorie Conger, Mrs. Patra Seaman, Mrs. Virgie Romick, Mrs. Janet' Walker, Mrs. Betty Ferguson (wife of Warren Ferguson), Mrs. Laurel Jillson and Adele Kinney. Miss Mary Lou Johnston of Caliente, formerly of Milford, was present as a guest. The hostesses were Lola Tanner, Tan-ner, Marjorie Conger, Patra Seaman Sea-man and Adele Kinney. A highlight high-light of the evening was the read- ing of issues of the Milford News' of weeks past. The News is like a long letter from home, the only regret being that it doesn't come, more often. The next meeting will be held j May 8th, the affair to be a mixed party with husbands, boy friends, and former Milford men folks in- j vited.
