OCR Text	Show Caring for Paint Brushes When laying aside paint brushes, the usual custom is to place them in water and then forget all about them until needed again, with the result that the water usually is found more or less evaporated and the brushes hardened. If a quantity of oil is poured on the water, it will prevent this evaporation and keep the brushes in good shape.
