Show Wynaught Again Elected To Serve On Directorate At the regular luncheon meeting meet-ing of the Milford Lions club, held Wednesday noon in the Union Pacific dining room, L. A. Wynaught Wy-naught was unanimously reelected to represent the Milford club in the Associated Civic Clubs of Southern Utah, the motion for his reelection being amended by Lion George Jefferson to include the payment of all or part of his expenses ex-penses to the monthly meetings of the association, funds for the same to be raised by such a plan as the president of the club shall devise. Lion O. C. Koch, as a member of the committee on major projects pro-jects and civic improvements, reported re-ported that the committee had drawn up and presented to the own board certain recommendations recommenda-tions regarding the proposed civic center in the rear of the business district and the committee was delegated to push this matter with all diligence in order that something some-thing definite may materialize in the near future. Other members of the committee are: George Jefferson, Jef-ferson, J. M. Hughes, Dr. R. R. Shannon and 0. F. Hubbell. E. R. Moody, new principal of the Milford high school, and C. L. Firmage, manager of the local theatre, were gven a hearty welcome wel-come into the club as new members, mem-bers, on the recommendation of the membership committee, consisting con-sisting of Lions Palmer, Murdock and Hughes. Present at the Wednesday meeting meet-ing were President La Mar Out-zen, Out-zen, R. C. Palmer, 0. C. Koch, George Jefferson, Dr. R. R. Shannon, Shan-non, J. M. Hughes, I. Altman, J. R. Murdock jr., L. A. Wynaught, M. H. Pool, R. H. Nelson, David S. Williams and the new Lions, Mooday and Firmage. |
