Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley McKnight and Clair Carter spent part of the I week in Salt Lake City, -where they attended the Salt Lake county ifair and race meet. Mrs. McKnight Mc-Knight also accompanied her brother bro-ther Clair to Logan, where he will enter the USAC this fall. Mrs. Hannah Pryor Williams and small daughters were happy I to welcome home Mr. Williams, iwho has been serving in the army land has been stationed in the northwest. Mr. Williams is a , former newspaper man of Ogden. J Mrs. Vella Marshall has gone i to St. George for an extended visit with her sister, Mrs. Ruby Morris. Lee Gillins has signed a contract con-tract as jockey for Bob Fenton of Parowan. Mr. Fenton has several horses he is getting ready for the Beaver race meet. v |
