Show SALT LAKE MAN SEES PRICE ADVANCES Senator Julian M. Bamberger of Salt Lake thought enough of advices reaching the purchasing department of the Bamberger Electric Railroad company to read in the state senate the other day a notation he had received re-ceived from H. I. Price, the purchasing purchas-ing agent, as follows: "Information received from the Purchasing Agents' association is to the effect that commodity prices will advance upon the opening of the nation's na-tion's bankjs. Silver flour, copper and sugar have now advanced. Lumber Lum-ber jobbers here have been advised to cancel any quotations made since March 1. The tone in information from purchasing agents in the east is that we are about to start upward.-Some upward.-Some manufacturing establishments, are scrambling to cover commitments in advance." o |
