Show TWO TEAMS FINISH SCHEDULE IN A TIE; MILFORD JS FOURTH Tie Being Played Off Wednesday Wednes-day At Cedar City; Milford-IMinersville Milford-IMinersville Came a Close One. Beaver 9 1 .900 Delta 9 1 .900 Millard ti 4 .600 Milford 3 7 .300 Hinckley 2 8 .200 Minersville 1 9 .100 Beaver and Delta high schools finished fin-ished the leugue schedule in the expected ex-pected tie for top position with the games played Friday night of last week, the former team routing Hinckley, 25-12, in a game at Hinckley, Hinck-ley, while Delta won, from Millard, Fillmore floor. The playing off of the tie for the right to go to the state tournament at Salt Lake will take place at Cedar City Wednesday evening, according to last-minute report, re-port, and the game is sure to be a world-beater from the standpoint of intense interest. The game between Milford and Minersville, played on the local floor, was anyone's game throughout the contest. From time to time Milford had and edge on the score that looked to be more or less permanent but each time, the valiant squad from Minersville tied the score or turned it in their favor. Minersville started t'-e scoring wth a nice field goal but Milford soon followed suit and tha tie was not broken until Foster Morris, Milford's eagle-eyed center, scored a phenomenal long shot from the side line, duplicating the stunt in the second se-cond period, when he broke another 6-6 tie. The first quarter ended, 6-2, in favor of the home boys but Minersville Min-ersville found the hoop for four field goals in the second period and the half ended, 10-9 in their favor. The first part of the third quarter went pretty much according to the wishes of the Milford quintet and they led, 18-12, at one stage of the game but found the vistors coming up on them before the bell rang, when the score stood 20-18 for Milford. The latter team managed to garner five points to their oppnents' four in the final period and the game ended witn the score 27-24 for the home lads.
