The bridegroom is employed in the mechanical department at the Boulder1 dam and they will make their home in Boulder City. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Alice Martin of Salt Lake City and a sister to Walter E. Martin, our genial express agent. Both young people have a host of friends who extend all best wishes. Mrs. Oasterline returned home Sunday. Sun-day. Announcement lias been received of the marriage at liexburg, Idaho, of Miss Orma Devine to Earl Allen of Declo, Idaho. The bride is the daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Devine of Iron Springs. She made her home for four years with Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Cott:el while attending the Milford high school, ('torn which she graduated graduat-ed with the cla-s of 1927-28. Miss Dorothy Levi entertained her bridge club Ei iday night with the following present as members: Betty Murdock, Alice Carlson, lrma Foth-eringham, Foth-eringham, Gladys and Eva Coleman, Leah Richards and Jeanette Kohler; and as guest... Cass Root, a jrioo of a couple of weeks ago, a prettily appointed miscellaneous shower was given Tuesday evening a the home of her sister, Mrs. W. A. Moore. Many presents, notable for their beauty and utility, were tendered, tender-ed, the bride on the happy occasion, testifying to the real popularity of both bride and bridegroom. Mrs. Lamar Outzen entertained at a dinner Tuesday afternoon in honor of the birthday of her mother, Mrs. A. C. Johnson. In addition to the guest of honor there were present pres-ent Mesdames Emma Smith, Jane Lang, Mary Ferney, Lu Moore, Naomi Na-omi Hughes,' Darrel Quayle and Olive Root. A crowd of young people gathered at the home of Leo Patterson, the occasion oc-casion being his 13th birthday Everyone had an enjoyable time. |
