Show MINERSVILLE A number of people accompanied the ball team to St. George Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Roy McGinty have as guests Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Keith and children of San Bernardino, California. Califor-nia. Mrs. Keith is a sister of Mr. McGinty. Mrs. W. B. Hall is home after being in Beaver the past ten days. Fifty of the descendents of the late James and Ann Naylor Eyre from here attended the Eyre reunion at Lyman, Wyoming, June 28 and 29. Miss Nomia Osborne spent several days of last week at Beaver and Manderfield with friends. Elaine and Sheldon McKnighit spent the past week at South Milford as guests of their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McKnight. A. J. Blackburn departed Saturday for California after spending the past year here with his sister, Mrs. M. D. Fisher. Miss Mable Sherwood is home after spending the past three weeks at Pioche, Nevada. Mrs. Ronald Banks and daughter Geraldine have returned home after spending three weeks at Provo. Miss Verle Marshall of American Fork is here with her mother, Mrs. Dine Marshall. j Mr. and Mrs. Leo Lewis and family of Compton, California, are spending J two weeks here with relatives, j Mrs. H. L. Hall and daughter Mau-I Mau-I rine are visiting at Salt Lake City, j Mrs. Jack Brinkerhoff and daughters daugh-ters of Boulder City, Nevada, spent the first part of the week here. ; Mi s. Donald Martin and sons, Garth, Kendall and Marvin, of Las Vegas, Nevada, spent Monday here.i I The Lucky 13 members of the -4-H j club held a meeting at the home of j their leader, Miss Thelma Hall, Tues-i Tues-i day. A demonstation on eggs was given. The first year group of the 4-H j club entertained Wednesday in honor of their mothers. A program and j games were the main features of the entertainment after which cake j and punch were served. The third year 4-H club girls held a meeting Monday. Five kinds of vegetables were demonstrated and a name for the club was selected. o |
