Show Jl Tew Little ' SNUBBED Henderson's evening suit was rather old-fashioned. His figure was not one which ihowed clothes to advantage, either. One evening, a he stood in the vestibule ves-tibule of a restaurant waiting for his wife, a tall, pompous man came. up. "I say, my man, are you the head waiter?" he drawled. What Henderson lacked in bearing he made up for in quick thinking. "No," he said, "but I heard him tell young fellow today that he didn't want to see any more applicants for Job." Tit-Bltt Magazine. |
