Wil-I Wil-I son residence in the Forgie apart- rnents for the purpose of discussing party affairs, including the matter j of setting a date for special Demo-cratic Demo-cratic primaries to be held in each voting district, at which time voting I district organizations will be effected. effect-ed. Included in the delegation from Beaver were J. P. Barton, A. L. Griffiths, Kent Morgan, Frank : Smith and Joseph Manzione. The ! date for these district primaries will be announced later in The News. ! The Democratic central committee for Beaver county was reorganized in part at a meeting held in Beaver January 29, at which time J. E. Wilson Wil-son of Milford was reelected as county chairman. J. P. Barton of. Beaver was elected to the vice-chairmanship and Mrs. Gladys Oakden to the position of associate chairwoman, both being new in these positions which is also the case with J. C. Smith, elected to the secretaryship, and J. D. Ryan, elected as treasurer. Joseph Manzione of Beaver and Earl Thompson of Minersville were reelected re-elected as members of the central committee while F. W. Gospill of South Milford and Frank Smith- of Beaver were newly elected as mem- ' Vers of that committee. J. ' M. Hughes of Milford was newly elected as a committeeman at large. ' |
