Camp Cuhill at Wall Wall Springs were plea nntly surprised last Thursday by the unexpected un-expected arrival at this rump in" Reserve Re-serve Lieutenant George W. Dnuncey jr., of Salt Lake City and formerly u cadet at West high school in that city. It is n plea-ure to have him with us and we hop,, that he will learn to love the camp us we do and that he will make the mo t of what comforts are afforded here. First Lieutenant Edward Lee lilin-coe lilin-coe of this camp, in company with his wife, left late Thursday for a brie!' visit in Los Angeles, his former place of residence. We wish bini a pleasant journey and a safe return. lioerve Captain llo.-coc Saundeis of San Francisco, who is expected to take command here in the absence of Captain T. Sapia-Hosch, arrived Sun- day afternoon. We hope soon to become be-come better acijUuintcd with him. The five remaining Y'irginia boy. are leaving October 10 on the noon train. In company with easterners from other we-t camps, they will return to their home states. Although the boys were reluctant to go, Virginia Vir-ginia seems to be calling them. To them the camp extends a hearty vote of thunks for their fine cooperation in helping to bring this camp to its piesent state of comfort and usefulness. useful-ness. Alfred Hanson of Tooele has been taken to the army hospital at Fort Douglas to be treated for a lame hack. We trust that he will soon be able to return to our camp. ('and Snarr, C. C.
